Govt readies fertilizer price cut deal to stay in force till Jul 1
MOSCOW, Mar 17 (PRIME) -- The Agriculture Ministry has prepared a draft government ruling of a fertilizer price reduction agreement with the producers to remain in force until July 1, according to the document released on the federal legal acts portal late on Tuesday.
"In order to cut and maintain prices of mineral fertilizers, the Industry and Trade, and Agriculture ministries are to sign agreements with the economic entities, the producers and suppliers of mineral fertilizers," the bill read.
A ministry official told PRIME last week that the Agriculture Ministry proposes to fix prices for such types of mineral fertilizers as ammonium nitrate, carbamide, azofoska, and ammophos temporarily.
